OUR 2017 30TH ANNUAL EVENT OF THE HEART WAS A GREAT SUCCESS 250 people enjoyed an evening featuring a “champagne” reception with Roederer sparkling wine, hors d’oeuvres and special music by Majide!, dinner by Ellery Clark  accompanied by wine from Jaxon Keys and Frey, an exciting live auction conducted by Sheriff Tom Allman, and dancing to the Johnny Young band. MCAVHN was fortunate to find  new sponsors, Orr Hot Springs Resort, the George and Ruth Bradford Foundation, the Hunger Express, and Brigham Law to join returning sponsors UVMC, Coyote Valley Casino, Savings Bank, Mariposa Market, Pacific Redwood Medical Group, Doug Crane, Danny Schott, and Anonymous.    We thank all of these supporters as well as the many generous individuals in the community who made cash donations We are grateful to the donors who contributed their art, their products, and their services to the live and silent auctions and to Sheriff Allman for serving as a most compelling auctioneer.  Finally, thanks to all the volunteers who helped from reception to wine pourers to security to cleanup.  That capable crew contributed greatly to the evening’s smooth flow.  Thanks especially to Steve Cook, Fernando Valazquez and Don Popowski for obtaining auction items.
