Our 2018 Event of the Heart Event Was A Great Success MCAVHN thanks everyone who supported our 31st Event of the Heart on Feb. 10, 2018.    Guests enjoyed wine from Roederer Estates, Frey Vineyards and Jaxon Keys, dinner by Ellery Clark, live and silent auctions, and dancing to the Johnny Young Band.  We are very fortunate to have had generous sponsors, many returning from prior years:  Adventist Health Ukiah Valley, Orr Hot Springs Resort, Pacific Redwood Medical Group, the George and Ruth Bradford Foundation, Jan Woesner, Linda and Don Coursey, Mariposa Market, the Hunger Express, Brigham Law, Doug Crane, and Danny Schott.  We thank Sheriff Allman for a lively auction and are grateful to those who answered our plea for help with rent: Keith Faulder, Diane Watson, John McCowen, Char Jacobs, Stan and Bette Fleischacker, Claudia and Steve Prochter, Wynd Novotny and Finn Alden, Tamar Kaye and Jack Cain, Jeannette Kroppman, Terri Boudreaux, Robert Clark, Don and Judy Popowski. Thanks to Wil Gonzalez who created beautiful decorations, to Banners and Signs for work on our State Street banner, and to Blueprints and Copies for help with printing. To all who bought tickets, donated cash, donated an auction item, purchased an auction item, poured wine, handled guest check-in, helped in setup or cleanup, served as security, we thank you for your contribution to a truly “Starry Night”.
