Special Events Held in the Prayer Garden
May 1, 2017 -- Crowning of the Blessed Virgin A small group of parishioners met in the Prayer Garden for the crowning of Blessed Virgin.  Two children placed a crown of flowers on the head of the bronze statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Everyone then recited the rosary. May 13, 2017 -- 100th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Mary of Fatima To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Apparitions of Mary of Fatima, a celebration was held in our Prayer Garden. Chairs were set up directly in front of the bronze statue of the Blessed Virgin. Special prayers were recited, and there was singing accompanied by a guitar.  The ceremony was attended by approximately 35 persons. After the ceremony, the attendees moved their chairs to an area just adjacent to the Prayer Garden and enjoyed a potluck lunch. VIEW A SLIDE SHOW OF THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY
